Whether it’s regularly-scheduled maintenance, emergency services or a complete refit or re-powering, our boat yard has become locally famous for the pragmatic and expert mechanical, fiberglass, painting and maintenance services we proudly deliver.

We can service your boat at our facility or, if you are berthed at the Guilford Yacht Club, we can provide limited services there as well.

Mechanical Services

Our mechanical services staff has deep expertise across a variety of gas, diesel, inboard and outboard engines including but not limited to Yamaha, Yanmar, Mercury, Volvo, Westerbeke and Crusader marine engines. We are also skilled in maintaining and servicing engine and steering controls such as Hynautic and Teleflex, marine sanitation solutions such as VacuFlush, Raritan and SeaLand and navigational electronics from makers like Furuno, Garmin, and RayMarine.

Fiberglass Services

Whether dealing with a ding in your gelcoat, dock or grounding damage, wet core replacement or glassing in a refit, we have in-depth understanding of what it takes to get fiberglass work done right. No detail is too small and we understand the importance of gelcoat matching. If an insurance claim is involved, we can provide all the documents needed to expedite your claim and get you back on the water as soon as possible.

Painting Services

From preparation right through to completion, we understand the driving purposes of a marine paint job: vessel preservation and pride in appearance. Whether it’s a seasonal bottom job or highly-detailed topside finish painting, our approach is all about quality outcomes. We make sure surfaces are prepped properly, that quality products like Interlux, Pettit or Awlgrip are professionally applied and guarantee that no job leaves our yard with residual masking tape or leftover drips.

Detailing Services

Although many boat owners take pride and pleasure in performing most chores associated with vessel upkeep, rarely is detailing among these tasks. Our detailing services maintain the look of your boat while protecting it over the long term. Exterior services we provide include oxidation removal, compounding, waxing and both hand and machine polishing of both surfaces and stainless. We also clean and brighten teak as well as maintaining brightwork. Interior services include complete wipe downs, vinyl mold removal, carpet cleaning, stainless cleaning and polishing and everyone’s favorite: head cleaning and disinfecting.
